1. Scope and data controller
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, shared, and protected when you use the Trendio iOS app, the trendio website, and related services (together, the "Service").

2. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide and improve the Service. The table below summarizes what data we keep, why, and for how long.
Your payment card details are processed by Apple; we have no access to them.
3. How we use data and legal bases
- Providing the Service (account, analysis, tasks, Studio tools, Coach): establishing and performing a contract — KVKK Art. 5/2(c), GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
- Security, preventing abuse, fixing errors, and product improvement: legitimate interest — KVKK Art. 5/2(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

4. Adding social media accounts
You add your Instagram or TikTok username to Trendio. The app reads that username's public profile information and, where available, public post data (caption, type, date, and visible like, comment, and view counts) on your own device, without signing in to the platform. The data it reads is sent to our servers for analysis; our servers do not fetch data from Instagram or TikTok.
- We never ask for or store your social media password or session details at any stage; the app has no Instagram or TikTok sign-in.
- We do not post, like, follow, comment, or send messages on your behalf.
- We do not read private accounts or private messages. We do not collect follower lists, comment text, or other people's data, and we mask @mentions and email addresses in bios and captions.
- Reading happens only when you open the app or refresh manually, at a low frequency. If data cannot be read, you can enter the details yourself.
- You can remove an account you added at any time under Settings › Linked accounts in the app.

5. AI features
Features such as Dio coach chat, Studio tools (post text, hooks, carousels, captions, transcripts, etc.), comment reply suggestions, and the weekly summary work by sending what you write and, as far as needed, the relevant profile data to third-party AI service providers.

- We try to mask direct identifiers such as email, phone number, and address before requests are sent.
- Comment reply suggestions are not sent anywhere without your approval.

6. Subscriptions and payments
Trendio Pro subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. To manage subscription status, we use our subscription management infrastructure provider, RevenueCat. In this context, an anonymous app user ID, the purchased product, transaction IDs, and renewal status are processed. Your card details are not sent to us or to RevenueCat.
7. Notifications
If you allow it, we send notifications such as streak reminders, niche trend alerts, the weekly summary, and trial-ending notices through the Apple Push Notification service (APNs). You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings or in the app's notification preferences. We respect quiet hours and the daily notification limit.
8. Parties we share with
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. We share your data only with the service provider categories below, and only as far as needed to receive their service:
- Hosting, database, and file storage providers
- AI and speech-to-text service providers
- Subscription management (RevenueCat) and the app store (Apple)
- Notification delivery and email (sign-in codes) providers
- Error tracking and product analytics providers
- Support software providers

Where legally required, we may share data with competent public authorities, and in a possible merger or transfer, with the relevant parties, provided they offer the same protection as this policy.
9. Transfers abroad
Some of our service providers are located outside Türkiye (e.g., the US and the EU). 10. Retention and deletion
We keep your data for the periods in the table or until the purpose no longer applies. You can delete your account in two ways:
- In the app: Settings › Delete account
- On the web: the Account and data deletion form
After a deletion request, your account is closed immediately, and your personal data is deleted from live systems within [30] days at the latest and from backups within [SÜRE] at the latest. Data we are legally required to keep, such as financial records, is kept with restricted access for those periods. Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription; you need to cancel the subscription in your App Store settings.
11. Your rights (KVKK and GDPR)
Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know the parties it is transferred to, request correction, deletion or destruction, request that these actions be notified to the parties it was transferred to, object to an outcome against you resulting from automated analysis, and claim compensation if you suffer harm.
If you are in the EEA, under the GDPR you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent.
You can send your requests to [E-POSTA] or through Settings › Support in the app; we reply within 30 days at the latest. Your right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Board or to the supervisory authority in your country is reserved.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at people under [YAŞ SINIRI], and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we notice such an account, we delete the account and data. If you think a child has shared data, write to [E-POSTA].
13. Security
We protect data with technical and administrative measures such as encryption in transit and at rest, access authorization, mandatory two-step verification in the admin panel, activity logs, and regular security updates. No system is completely secure; if a data breach occurs, we will inform you and the relevant authority within the legal deadlines.
